Haiti is an independent country located on the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea.  Based on Wikipedia (1) it has an area of 28,000 km2, and the population is estimated at 11.5 million people.

Citizens (2) of many countries can stay in Haiti continuously for 90 days without a visa. To get citizenship of Haiti by naturalization you need to live in the country for 5 years.

This past March, the Embassy of Haiti (9) sponsored its second of four webinars on the topic – the most recent one called Fueling Haiti’s Emerging Innovation Economy (10).
