Tonga is a country in Oceania. The total area of the islands that make up the country is 748 km2, and the population is 100,000 people based on Wikipedia (1).

Visitors to Tonga must obtain a visa unless they come from one of the visa-exempt countries or countries eligible for visa waiver on arrival (free VOA). All visitors must have a passport valid for 6 months according to Wikipedia (2).

Based on TongaPocketGuide (3) it’s possible to get residence permit in the country by the following types: business visa, student visa, employment visa. Also there is a passive income visa called β€œAssured Income Visa” and it requires at least $4,180 annual income ($TOP 10,000).
